As a Republican candidate, and incumbent, for State House District 30 (covering Point MacKenzie, Big Lake, Houston, Willow, Talkeetna, Trapper Creek, Skwentna, Petersville, Cantwell, Healy, Denali Park, Clear, Anderson, and the Parks Highway communities in between) I am asking you to support me in my candidacy so that I can represent your values in Juneau and throughout D30.

I believe our communities need the engaged and energetic representation I have provided since you sent me to Juneau, and with your support I will continue to work hard for you.

Meet Kevin

My wife Linn and I live in the Big Lake community. I’m retired from the U.S. Coast Guard and I’ve lived in Alaska for most of the past 44 years. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree and an MBA, and currently serve the people of District 30 in the State House. I am also recently retired from Atlas Air, where I flew Boeing 747s worldwide.

The Issues

There are myriad issues that concern you and your family, as they do Linn and me. Healthcare costs, education metrics, roads and transportation, resource and economic development, possible new taxes, and of course our Permanent Fund – all are important.

I’m engaged, active and invested in making a real difference. I am not in this job for money or power. I am in it because the direction of state government needs to change, and I will keep representing this district with a steady hand.
